Why take Paxlovid (especially from Pfizer) if current Covid strains are so mild? I'm a 70 y/o asthmatic who tested for Covid three days ago (6/29/24). Never got Covid previously (Moderna vaccine and one follow up booster in 2020). I have a 1/2 to 1 degree fever and rough throat and cough. Symptoms are no more than a mild cold relieved by occasional Ibuprofen.

I only take 500mg daily for 10 years with no problem

what about if you take them 3-4 times a week instead of everyday? i have been talking with so many doctors and told me that is safe to take them long term if you do not take them every single day and give your body the chance to absorb calcium, magesium, b12...

I came off of this too fast, misunderstood the doctors decrease timing advice, and boy did I ever experience awful, horrible effects. I was nauseous as hell for a solid week, and had a lot of really bad, unforgettable nightmares. This is definitely a medication that you want to follow your doctors advice very closelyand not decrease it too quickly.

My Dr prescribed amlodaline while I was taking Losartan. My feet and ankles swelled horribly and I got neuropathy in my my hands and feet. Still have it after a year of not taking it. I also was very light headed and had balance problems :( I fell twice!

This medication is hard on the body and makes you feel like crap, it depletes all of your electrolytes not just sodium. It can cause your mental health to decline. It can cause higher blood sugars. Taking this medication I could not lose weight because of the high blood sugars. It makes you crave sugar at an alarming rate because your body isn’t holding on to electrolytes so your kidneys want the sugar to try and hold on to some electrolytes, thus causing weight gain. Also I would always get random kidney pains and spasms in that region. This medication made me sun light sensitive and itchy. I was getting sciatica and chronic back pain from it, the electrolytes help stimulate your nerves and nervous system thus being low in them can cause so many issues. Electrolyte deficiency can cause chronic cortisol elevation. I had extremely low libido and could not hold an erection, also it exacerbated my ADHD to where I couldn’t concentrate on the slightest thing for more than a few minutes, low electrolytes can cause neurotransmitter disruption thus making my ADHD worse. It caused my hands and feet to always get numb, this is associated with lack of nerve stimulation and or damage to the nerves. Lastly this medication increased my heart rate I was always tachycardic my heart rate just after a simple walk would be 110-130 my resting heart rate would always be high 90s-100. This medication is so harsh, and I had no clue it was this medication causing me so many health problems, my Dr never explained any of this to me. What I did was up my magnesium via supplement with magnesium glycinate and ate potassium rich foods, and my BP normalized within a week, and all these side effects subsided in about 3 weeks. I’ll never take a diuretic again.

I've had many stones , It usually takes about 12 hours to drop into the bladder , of the ones that I passed . Some I had to have surgery for . I have to say the procedures have gotten a lot better since my first stone in 1973 .

Lemon juice daily . Occasional teaspoon apple cider vinegar diluted into drinks . Staying hydrated too . Doing all 3 daily should greatly reduce if not eliminate kidney stones entirely .

I have 7mm stone in the Uterus Junction of my left kidney. Will it be possible to pass out in urin with medication and drinking lots of water?

I take 2 600ml 3 times a day. I often overuse and run out 7-10 days early. I'm normaly just starting to feel better when my next scrip is due and rince and repeat. I have terrible sciatica and Gabapentin is the only thing that gives me any relief. But on the days I've run out i wish id never started taking them

Take nattokenise! It works the same way that ACE- INHIBITORS do. Thins the blood to bring the BP down and also softens the blood vessels to help the blood flow. Works!

I was taking zoloft for about a month and a half and noticed my sexdrive was practically gone. I became more irritable than what I was before. I recently had an outburst bad enough that it had me thinking it might end my marriage and my relationship with my children. My feelings of not wanting to live anymore increased as well. This medication is dangerous for me.

Took this drug for ten years and tried to get off...now I am in severe withdrawal going on ten months. It's not discussed how difficult it is to get off these drugs...

I've just completely lost my sense of smell and taste. I haven't had an infection in years and can't think of anything else that might have caused it. Is this a possibility?

I had a stent put in, they put me on this, nothing but problems, no sleep, lucky to get 2 hours a night, got really depressed and had major anxiety, but the worst part are the [palpitations, non-stop, Dr. said its a side effect, trying to get off of this drug

I take one 200 mg ibuprofen every morning with milk and a banana. I’m a disabled vet and it helps with pain and stiffness when I wake up . That’s all I take so my doctor said I should be OK . I’ve been doing regular checks and haven’t had any issues .

Will never allow the doctor to force me to take this poison.

OMG... are you serious??? I've been taking 300mg for the past 8 years, I've gone to the doctor (and even the ER) for heart arrhythmias and tachycardia, and not ONCE has any doctor given me an EKG!!! 😱
